Winter storm leaves 27 dead in the state of New York until this Monday

Following the passage of a winter storm, at least 27 people have died in Erie County, New York, a number that could rise according to authorities.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul said the danger has not passed and the storm will return.

Hochul requested a federal emergency declaration for the state on Monday.
