The journalist, who praised the terrorist from the Shuafat attack, did not come to the investigation after three complaints were filed • These are the things he wrote

In September and October, the Israel Police received three complaints from citizens on suspicion of inciting terrorism, regarding two tweets published by a journalist on Twitter.

The complaints concerned a tweet on 8/10/22 in which the journalist responded to a tweet that dealt with the attack in Shuafat in which the late fighter Noa Lazar was killed: "... harming security forces is not terrorism". On 11/9/22 the journalist tweeted in response to the arrest of the terrorist in Jaffa By the Israel Police:

"Look what a hero is. He made it all the way from Nablus to Tel Aviv and even though all the Israelis around him somehow take part in oppressing, crushing and killing his own people - he still looked for legitimate goals and avoided harming the innocent.

In a reformed world he would have received a medal."

After examining the complaints in the investigation division of the AHM, last month the State Attorney's Office received permission to open an investigation. After several attempts by the Israel Police to summon the journalist for an investigation, in which he announced that we did not intend to appear for an investigation, the court issued an arrest warrant in his case.

This morning the suspect was arrested by the Tel Aviv Police Station for questioning on suspicion of the offenses of incitement to terrorism and incitement to violence.

"Our dear country is going under anti-democratic control," the journalist tweeted today (Tuesday) on his Twitter account.

"The Minister of Police is a declared nationalist, I have no intention of lowering my head."

Following the arrest, an organization in Tselmo, which also filed a complaint with the police and turned to the Ombudsman to confirm the investigation, said, "We welcome the arrest of the instigator after he refused to appear for the investigation.

This is not a journalist but a person who incites violence, terrorism and murder.

This man's place is behind bars and not in any public position.

We will act so that the prosecutor's office and the police will exhaust the law against the terrorist supporter and he will be sent to prison for many years.

No one can incite the murder of people."
