For the first time since she officially divorced her partner Kanye West last month, Kim Kardashian spoke for the first time about the difficulty of living alongside the successful rapper and also referred to his recent anti-Semitic statements, which caused a great stir.

In an interview she held on radio host Angie Martinez's "IRL" podcast and was published last night (Monday), Kardashian, 42, shared the difficulty she experienced raising the children alongside West and compared him to her father Robert, who passed away in 2003. "I had the best dad , and I have the best memories and experiences (with him), and that's all I want for my children," she said as tears fell from her eyes.
"One day my children will thank me for sitting here and not attacking their father when I could have," she added.
"They will thank me and I will answer them privately for everything they want to know. I protect him in the eyes of my children and for them."
In an indirect reference to the issue of West's anti-Semitic comments, the star said that she protects her four children from media exposure and that she is sure that they are not aware of their father's behavior, as she limits their time watching television, using social media and talking to their teachers.
"If they are not aware of the things that are being said or that are happening in the world, why would I bring them this energy? This is something serious for adults that they are not ready to deal with yet," she said.
Kardashian also said that she is afraid that her future partners will be "afraid" of West.
"There's a part of me that wonders if everyone will be scared because I have a not-so-easy ex. I don't think it's fair to put someone in that situation or bring a new person into it. And there's also a part of me that says, 'Why would I ever have to live like this?'. I don't know If I marry again, but I know I will have a partner forever. I live in peace and will have fun until that happens."
