The number of victims of the floods that swept several areas in the southern Philippines has risen to 13, while 23 others are still missing.
Xinhua quoted the Philippine Disaster Mitigation Agency as saying: The areas most affected by the floods are Baikol in Luzon Island and the central Philippines, noting that more than 170,000 people have been displaced in six regions as a result of the floods, and more than 45,000 people have been evacuated from their homes.
A previous toll indicated that six people were killed and 19 others were missing as a result of the natural disaster.
