Germering – The annual wish tree campaign for seniors by AWO Germering ended on December 16th.
A total of 170 wishes were fulfilled, which are placed under the Christmas tree as gifts on time.
In recent years, the campaign has been characterized by the great friendliness of the citizens of Germeringer and their great willingness to help.
"And again this year, the AWO wish tree team was overwhelmed by the willingness to give and so many beautiful moments and encounters," says Daniela Gohl, secretary in the AWO office.
It was a pleasure to experience the eagerness with which the Germeringers once again got wishes from the tree and fulfilled them.
Although everyone is suffering from inflation, they still think of others and help put joy on the faces of the elderly.
The lovingly wrapped gifts were collected in the specially provided AWO wish tree office in the multi-generation house and handed over to the nursing services and senior citizens' facilities, as well as to the senior citizens, in good time before the festival.
"The AWO Germering would like to thank everyone involved and the Germering wish-fulfillers," says Gohl happily.
