The Syrian Ambassador to Iraq, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah, inaugurated today the “Made in Syria” exhibition, on the grounds of the Baghdad International Fair, in the presence of a number of Iraqi officials and representatives.
100 Syrian industrial, agricultural, commercial and health companies are participating in the exhibition, displaying their food, textile, electrical, medical, cosmetic and traditional products in the two largest halls of the Baghdad International Fair in central Baghdad.
Ambassador Al-Dandah said in a statement to SANA correspondent in Baghdad: This exhibition is an important indicator of the rise of Syrian-Iraqi cooperation to a high level in the field of trade. with the income of the Iraqis.
Al-Dandah added: The exhibition, which is held in cooperation with the Iraqi brothers, is one of the elements of breaking the unjust Western economic blockade imposed on Syria.
In her turn, Zahra Hammadi, Director General of the Exhibitions Department at the Iraqi Ministry of Trade, noted the launch of the “Made in Syria” exhibition and said: The establishment of this exhibition came through the intensive cooperation between the Iraqi and Syrian sides.
Hammadi affirmed that the Iraqi public pays more attention to the Syrian industry than its foreign counterparts, due to its rich production quality, development in manufacturing, and cheap prices.
The exhibition will continue until January 6th.
