According to figures from the Immigration Department, the number of departures at the airport in a single day during the Christmas holidays exceeded 20,000, with a total of 76,207 in four days from December 23 to 26, 16 times that of the same period last year.

As for the number of people leaving the country via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, there were more than 1,000 people in a single day for three consecutive days during the customs clearance and Christmas holidays in Macau, and 4,652 people left the country in four days, a four-fold increase compared to the same period last year.

According to figures from the Immigration Department, during the Christmas holidays, the number of people departing from Hong Kong’s airport continued to increase. Last Friday (23rd), the number of people departing from the airport reached 18,002 in a single day, and on Christmas Eve (24th), it rose to 18,473.
