Kim Kardashian breaks the silence on Balenciaga 1:58

Kim Kardashian has spoken publicly for the first time since reaching an agreement to divorce Kanye West last month.
In an interview she recorded with Angie Martinez for the "IRL" podcast, which aired Monday, Kardashian described how she does everything she can to raise her four young children with West, who has changed her name to Ye.
"Joint custody is very tough," Kardashian said.
"It's really f******* hard."
Kardashian got emotional talking about her late father, Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003.
"I had the best father, and I had the best memories and the best experience and that's all I want for my kids," Kardashian said through tears.
"That's what I would want for them."

Although she did not specifically address Ye's recent anti-Semitic comments and polemics, Kardashian told Martinez that she protects her children as much as possible from media coverage.
She said she's sure her children don't know about West's recent behavior because she limits their access to television and social media, and she talks to her teachers.
"If they don't know the things that are said or what is happening in the world, why would I transmit that energy to them? They are m******** of adults with whom they are not prepared to deal," he said Kardashian.
He then added that he protects Ye in the "eyes of my children, for my children."
"One day my children will thank me for sitting here and not beating up their father when I could," she said.
"They will thank me and I will respond privately to everything they want to know. It is no longer up to me to interfere."
Kim Kardashian referenced a statement from October, when she condemned hate speech.
"I stand with the Jewish community and call for an immediate end to the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them," Kardashian said at the time.
Ye publicly apologized to Kardashian in an interview with "Good Morning America" in September for "any stress" it caused her.
"This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress it has caused, even in my frustration that God is calling me to be stronger," Ye said at the time.
