In Duisburg, a mysterious accident occupies the police.
Two crashed cars were found in the immediate vicinity.
There was a corpse in one.

In the Friedrich-Alfred-Allee, a walker found two cars that had been involved in an accident in the immediate vicinity.
While one of the cars burned out, the second was dented.
There was a body in the driver's seat of the burned car.
There was no trace of the driver of the second car.
It is not yet clear how the accident happened.
Walker finds body in burned-out car
As the police announced in a report on Tuesday (December 27), a passer-by noticed a red Audi that had an accident and a burned-out Citroën Berlingo while walking on Sunday morning (December 25).
Accordingly, the red Audi was frontally in front of a tree at the end of the dead end.
Apparently, the car had collided with the tree.
The burned-out Citroën was in the immediate vicinity of the Audi on the sidewalk.
According to police information, the front of the Audi was deformed and dented.
There was no trace of the driver of the car.
A male body was found behind the wheel of the burned-out Citroën.
The connection between the two cars involved in the accident is not yet clear.
Mysterious accident in Duisburg: the police are looking for witnesses
Investigators assume that the accident occurred on Sunday night.
As the WDR reports, the body has now been autopsied.
However, no statements can be made about the identity of the person or the cause of death.
The police are therefore looking for witnesses who could have noticed the fire, injured people or suspiciously moving cars.
Numerous traffic accidents occurred over the Christmas weekend.
On the night before Christmas Eve, a drunk Tölzer caused two accidents.
A serious traffic accident also occurred in Kochel am See in Upper Bavaria on Christmas Eve.
