Legislative Council Election Committee member Jiang Yuhuan accepted a radio interview this morning (27th), saying that the Hong Kong government should follow the central government’s new direction of epidemic prevention and urge the complete withdrawal of all epidemic prevention restrictions under the Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance (Chapter 599), including Abolish the "restriction order", "vaccine pass" and "mask order", etc.
Jiang Yuhuan later posted on a social networking site that Hong Kong is "no longer urgent, and Chapter 599 is the time when everything ends." Public opinion and sentiment are more important than anything else at this time.
She then asked if Ruoguo hadn't made proper preparations for medical treatment and the elderly and children in the past three years, so why should people believe in any "step-by-step" timetable?
She criticized the "step by step" without system, rationale and organization, which will only make Hong Kong more backward.

She bluntly said that the epidemic has lasted for three years, and now is a good time for the citizens to adapt to the virus. She called on the government to "give us a choice", and hoped that the citizens would work together to persuade the government to revoke "Chapter 599G".
