For a stay in Morocco, you must have your passport – including for groups on an organized trip.

If presenting your identity card was enough to set foot on Moroccan soil until 2015, this is no longer the case today.

The visa, meanwhile, is only required for stays longer than three months.

Another document requested beyond the three months of stay on site: an extension of the authorization, which must be requested from the Moroccan immigration service.

This cannot exceed three months.

There are no longer any health restrictions linked to Covid-19 to enter Moroccan territory since September 30, 2022. However, a "passenger health card" (available here), duly completed, must be submitted on arrival in the one of the country's airports.

Before this lifting of restrictions, travelers had to present their vaccination pass or a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours in order to enter the kingdom.

What about wearing a mask?

This has not been mandatory for several months.

in public transport and buildings and certain shops
