Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev made abstruse forecasts on Twitter.

It's about the EU, Germany and the USA.

Moscow – Dmitry Medvedev has made wild predictions for 2023.

On Twitter, the former Russian President predicted, among other things, a collapse of the EU, the "Fourth Reich" in Germany and a civil war in the USA.

All of this "can happen," writes the 57-year-old, who is currently deputy on the Russian Security Council.

“On New Year's Eve, everyone gets involved in making predictions.

Many are making futuristic hypotheses as if they were competing for the wildest and most absurd,” Medvedev tweeted: “We will also do our part.” He put forward no fewer than ten – apparently deliberately steep – “predictions”.

The price of oil could possibly rise to $150 a barrel. In addition, Great Britain could return to the EU – before the European Union then collapses.

Poland and Hungary could start a war and conquer western areas of “former Ukraine”.

After all, Germany and the surrounding countries will create the “Fourth Reich”.

This new power would then start a war with France.

There will be a civil war in the USA, and California and Texas will become independent states.

According to Medvedev, Elon Musk could achieve a "delayed victory" in the new presidential elections.

Finally, "all major stock markets and financial activities would shift from the US and Europe to Asia," according to the former president.

The euro and dollar will then be rejected as "world reserve currencies" and the world will return to the gold standard.

"Happy New Year, you Anglo-Saxon friends and your happily grunting little pigs," reads the end of the thread.

Medvedev had already distributed against the USA and Europe on Telegram in November.

Elon Musk reacts to Medvedev's predictions

Elon Musk, soon to be President of the USA according to Medvedev's statements, promptly commented on the post.

"Epic thread," the Twitter boss initially wrote.

A few hours later, he called the tweets "definitely the most absurd predictions" he's ever heard.

They also testified to "an astonishing lack of awareness of advances in artificial intelligence and sustainable energy."

Medvedev did not comment on these two issues.

However, AI and sustainability are not exactly topics that should concern the former Russian president at the moment.
