Maayan Adam, who is six months pregnant, published a post on her Instagram account this morning (Wednesday) in which she talked about the dramatic increase in her body weight, which directly affects her mental state.
Adam also admitted that the content she is exposed to online undermines her security.
"Good morning! Many pregnancy followers have joined here recently, and this story is for them," Adam announced at the beginning of her words.
"It's not easy to reach new advances in weight, at a speed you won't train, with the feeling that you've lost control. And fear, yes, there's also fear of what will happen and whether you'll be able to get back to yourself and what it will require of you," she shared her feelings.
"There is also guilt because not all of them rise like that, and you shouldn't have devoured everything you devoured yesterday, and there is no way to balance, you can't go for a run. I deal with it every day, sometimes I manage to let go, and sometimes I am horrified by my appearance, and sometimes I just stand frozen in front of The weight," she described what was going through her mind.
From Adam's Instagram,
"I'm sure that this story will attract a lot of comments and that some of them will be difficult for me (body image is an exposed nerve) and I'll ask myself why I uploaded it. But I know exactly why I uploaded it - because Instagram only shows me pregnant women with thin legs and arms, and on Google It says I was supposed to gain six to fifteen kilos, and it saddens me that I'm the only one who is 'wrong,'" she continued.
Later, she addressed her followers with a strengthening message: "If there is even one like me here - then know that you are not alone. And don't be sad, and don't be afraid. We will be just fine! In a few months it will be up to us again."
