The Central District Court in Lod sentenced Natan Sashon, a 22-year-old young man, to 21 months in prison, who was convicted of robbing a Rolex watch from Dor Galili, a 25-year-old soccer player. The judge also fined the defendant 4,000 shekels and determined that he must compensate Galili with ten thousand shekels.

According to the indictment, the actor's friend posted an ad on Facebook offering a Rolex watch for sale in the amount of NIS 46,000.

The defendant or someone he sent contacted Adri with a request to purchase the watch, and in response his friend sent Galili's mobile phone number so that the two could set and coordinate the date of the sale.

Galili arrived at the meeting place and at the same time the accused also arrived at the place equipped with pepper spray.

There Galili was sitting in his car in the driver's seat and the defendant was standing near the driver's window, he presented the watch to the defendant through the window, the defendant held the watch and the player turned his body to the seat next to him in order to place the watch box.

When he turned again in the defendant's direction, the defendant sprayed his face and eyes with pepper spray and fled the scene with the watch.

Dor Galili, testified during the arguments for punishment for the scars left by the robbery.

The defense attorney, Attorney Shai Gabbai, claimed that the circumstances of the crime show that it is in the low level of seriousness of the robbery crimes, since no taser or dummy gun was used. He also claimed that the level of severity of the violence used by the accused is extremely low, the complainant did not suffer serious damage that required Immediate treatment and it was not apparent that the incident left him with a trauma that required treatment. He also asked to give considerable weight to his young age, to his level of danger which was assessed as low, to the fact that the watch was returned in its entirety and to the agreed compensation which is returned in installments.

Judge Greenberg stated in her decision: "The defendant's actions are bold and serious. The defendant planned the robbery in advance and meticulously, made contact on a social network with the publisher of the ad for the sale of a valuable watch, using a fake name in order to hide his identity and set a meeting place, the defendant equipped himself with a weapon in advance Cold - pepper spray, and as soon as he received the watch from the complainant, he used it, it was sprayed from a short distance towards the face and eyes of the complainant who was sitting in his car, helpless and surprised by the violent action taken against him; the accused was arrested shortly after the robbery with the watch in his pocket, it is doubtful if he would have responded had it not been for his arrest ", the judge wrote in the sentence.
