In the Torah flag, they were surprised following the publication in "Israel Hayom" according to which MK from Agudat Israel Yitzhak Goldknopf is expected to be appointed tomorrow (Thursday) during the swearing in of the government as well as a minister in the Prime Minister's Office until the conscription law is passed along with his appointment in the Ministry of Housing.
This is as part of a guarantee for the Rebbe's demand for the conscription law to be passed. In the agreements with the Likud, it was agreed that the conscription law would be passed until the budget is approved, but the Rebbe wanted to make sure of this and in his opinion appointing a minister in the Prime Minister's office is the way to do it.

At the beginning of the week, Knesset member from the Flag of the Torah - Moshe Gafni sharply attacked his party partner from Agudat Israel - Yitzhak Goldknopf in a conversation with "Israel Hayom": "There has been nothing like this since the establishment of the state - a decision to hire a minister. We are opposed to taking on such responsibility. We do not participate in the service, all of a sudden A security policy cabinet?! This is ideologically against our position. This is a serious thing, will we also take responsibility for human life?!"
