The Hama poultry facility achieved profits during the year 2022 at a value of 300 million Syrian pounds.
The director of the facility, Eng. Omar Hammoud, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the sales of the facility during the current year increased by about 20 million table eggs, indicating that the management of the facility and its employees are making great efforts to continue its production to the fullest extent, while taking care to improve the quality of the product of table eggs. .
And Hammoud indicated that the facility currently has 49,500 birds from a new cohort that was introduced into breeding five months ago and is in the production phase, in addition to 42,000 birds currently producing eggs, which contributes to raising the facility’s production to about 72,000 eggs per day, referring to the continuous cooperation with all parties. Concerned with securing fuel and electricity, as well as the Fodder Corporation to extract fodder consisting of yellow corn, soy and bran, which was positively reflected in the work.
He stressed that the facility is striving to meet the market's needs for table eggs, and its entire egg production is being sold through two sales windows belonging to it, the first at the facility's door and the second in Al-Asi Square in the center of Hama.
He pointed out that the management of the facility has taken a number of measures by scientifically following the feeding programs, the feed mixture, and vaccinations, in addition to strict quarantine procedures, periodic sterilization of the facility, and calcination of the walls and roofs of the “pens” for breeding the 10 chicken flocks, including 6 production pens and 4 care.
