The American organization that tracks armed attacks, “Gan Violence Archive”, stated that the shooting incidents that occurred in the United States during the year 2022 claimed the lives of more than 43,600 people.
In a report issued today, the organization indicated that more than 37,900 people were injured in 2022 as a result of shooting incidents, including 4,400 children, of whom more than 1,600 were killed.
The Gun Violence Archive, an organization that tracks armed attacks, publishes daily statistics on the mentioned incidents, based on information it receives from about 7,500 sources.
Shooting incidents are common in the United States, which observers attribute to the spread of a culture of violence in American society and the ease of owning individual weapons.
