Brigitte and Heinrich Schiltenwolf celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary.

The Wolfratshausen couple have "never skipped a dance" in 60 years.

Wolfratshausen – Every Saturday, the Schiltenwolf couple bake a plait together.

"You can eat it with everything," says Mayor Klaus Heilinglechner.

On this day, the coffee table in the cozy living room is lovingly set for the high-ranking visitor.

"We are very honored that you are coming to us," says Heinrich Schiltenwolf.

You've known each other for a long time, you're on first name terms.

Schiltenwolf is a genuine Wolfratshauser.

His wife Brigitte comes from Münsing.

The couple just celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary.

The two have shared a life together for 60 years.

And that started with the dance.

"I was one of the best in the dance class in the Münsinger boys' club," remembers Brigitte Schiltenwolf.

Heinrich Schiltenwolf also learned to dance through his friend Hans Schölderle.

Today the Schiltenwolfs say that has always remained their great passion.

They met when they were very young in the Münsinger Gasthaus Limm.

"We didn't skip a dance."

The name Schiltenwolf is well known in the city.

Heinrich Schiltenwolf, born in 1938, trained in his father's metalworking shop.

He was always committed to his profession, was an honorary labor judge and was active as a delegate in the Chamber of Crafts for many years.

Schiltenwolf was primarily committed to improving the vocational schools in the Oberland.

For 18 years he sat on the Wolfratshausen city council for the CSU.

“We were lucky in life and stayed healthy”

Brigitte Schiltenwolf, born in 1940, trained as a shorthand typist after secondary school, worked in a Munich publishing house and later in the Wolfratshausen district office.

In 1966, the twins Hannes and Stephan were born, four years later their son Hubert, who together are the fourth generation to run the Schiltenwolf metal construction company in the business park.

The senior boss still visits the company every day.

The Schiltenwolfs are down to earth people.

“As a young boy I wanted to get away from Wolfratshausen.

But I don't regret staying," admits Heinrich Schiltenwolf.

"We were lucky in life and stayed healthy." The Schiltenwolfs are grateful for that.

In the meantime, her grandchildren, Anna, Jasmin and Eva, have also grown up.

The love of music has remained with both jubilarians.
