Elderly woman killed in the Padua area, her daughter stopped asking her parents for money

The life and family relationships of Diletta Miatello, the 51-year-old woman stopped in a hotel in Romano d'Ezzelino, are being reconstructed by the investigators called to untie the knots on the motive for the murder that the woman allegedly committed against her mother Maria Angela Sarto. 84 years old, and the serious wounding of his father, Giorgio Miatello, 89.

The story, according to what was leaked by the Carabinieri who are investigating, revolves around the progressive psychological instability of Diletta, the couple's eldest daughter, a former traffic warden, after the separation from her husband and the custody of the son to the father, the alleged murderer would have returned to the house bifamiliar parents showing a progressive mental discomfort resulting in constant quarrels especially related to the request for money.

After resigning, Diletta Miatello had in fact no longer found a job.

She had even sought help on social media to get a job.

To indicate without uncertainties in the woman the perpetrator of the attack on the two spouses, apparently carried out with a knife and another tool, was her younger daughter, Chiara, who lives in Cittadella with her family.

It was Chiara, moreover, who found the two tortured bodies: the mother in the bedroom with her head smashed, the father downstairs in serious condition.

The man is hospitalized in resuscitation at the Padua hospital.
