Between January 2021 and June 2022, the French thus lost, on average, 720 euros in disposable income compared to the same period the previous year.

The fact remains that, without the price shield and the fuel discount, the bill would have been much heavier.

Households would have suffered an additional increase in their energy expenditure of 270 euros on average over the same period.
