Fatal Tesla accident on A93: Family father dies - son (10) seriously injured

For reasons that are still unclear, a man came off the A93 with his Tesla and crashed into several trees.
He was fatally injured in the process.
Kiefersfelden – A serious accident occurred on Wednesday morning, December 28, just before the Austrian border.
For reasons that are still unknown, a 44-year-old came off the road on the A93 and collided with several trees.
His wife and two children were in the car with him.
The father of the family did not survive the accident.
Fatal accident on the A93 – Tesla comes off the road
According to a press release from the Oberbayern Süd police headquarters, the tragic accident on the A93 happened around 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
A family from Erding was traveling towards Austria in their Tesla.
For reasons that are still unknown, the 44-year-old driver and family man left the roadway at the Oberaudorf junction (Rosenheim district).
The car slid over the green on the right and then collided with several trees, it is said.

The force of the impact severely deformed the vehicle – the driver was trapped.
The fire brigade had to move in to free the man from the wreck.
With life-threatening injuries, he was immediately flown to a clinic in Munich.
However, he died there shortly afterwards.
His 10-year-old son was also seriously injured in the accident.
He was flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter.
Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
The mother and the four-year-old son were only slightly injured.
They were treated in a hospital.
The car was a total loss of around 50,000 euros.
The public prosecutor is investigating how the accident happened
Since the course of the accident could not be clarified at first, the public prosecutor's office commissioned an expert opinion.
The Oberaudorf exit had to be closed while the accident was being recorded and rescued.
As a result, it jammed.
However, the A93 was not completely closed, one lane was kept open.
Paramedics and emergency doctors, the fire brigade, the motorway maintenance department and the Rosenheim traffic police were on duty.
The latter is now also in charge of the investigation into the accident.
