During the training, the participants will learn software development and basic concepts in the field of computers. • This is a joint initiative of the Zionist Council in Israel and the Hilma Tech company.

From the battlefield to the high-tech world:

About twenty-five fighters released from the best combat units, including Maglan, Nahal and Golani, recently began receiving practical training for high-tech professions with the support of the Zionist Council in Israel and other bodies.

The program, "Tavor 575", was born a few months ago with the aim of training fighters in the fields of high-tech.

The goal, say the Hilma and the Zionist Council in Israel, is to give the soldiers the opportunity, and the practical and practical training to engage in the field and integrate into a prosperous profession. Thus, it is hoped that the gaps will be narrowed with soldiers who received similar training in the IDF as in the various cyber and intelligence units.

The program aims to reduce the differences between the fighters and the veterans of the intelligence units (for example),

During the training, the liberated fighters learn software development and basic concepts in the high-tech field.

Along with the theoretical aspect, the program will also include a year of practical experience in developing projects for the public and social sector, with work for six months at a salary of at least NIS 9,000, in order to gain additional experience as a junior.

Attorney Oz Haim, CEO of the Zionist Council in Israel: "This is an exciting and important program that gives the fighters a real opportunity to secure their future and reduce gaps. The concern for employment and economic horizons for the young people who fought for us will lead to the resilience and prosperity of the State of Israel in the future, we at the Zionist Council of Israel will continue to support projects innovative like this in the future as well, in my opinion this is Zionism at its best"

Merav Israeli-Amarant, Hilma's Vice President of Partnerships: "We are proud to open the Tabor 575 program with a select group of motivated liberated fighters who, over the next year and a half, will receive elite technological training here and develop technologies for the benefit of Israeli society. The Zionist Council was the first to join As a partner in the project out of a vision and understanding that a renewed Zionism is also done through high-tech. We will continue to harness young men and women to the social high-tech revolution in Israel."
