Towards the swearing-in of the government:

the drama in Likud is reaching its peak, and the apparent division of cases in the party is beginning to become clear.

The 37th government and Netanyahu's sixth government will be sworn in tomorrow.

Yisrael Katz will probably be appointed to the position of foreign minister in rotation with MK Eli Cohen.

Ron Dermer, who was initially supposed to share the foreign affairs portfolio, is expected to be a cabinet member with a portfolio that would allow membership in the cabinet such as intelligence, energy or strategy.

Yoav Kish will be appointed to the position of Minister of Education and to be the liaison minister between the government and the Knesset.

Miri Regev is expected to be appointed to the position of Minister of Transportation and Nir Barkat will probably receive an economic portfolio.

Netanyahu informed Yuli Edelstein that he intends to have his appointment as chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee approved by the Likud faction.

Prime Minister-designate Netanyahu appointed Yoav Galant to the position of Minister of Defense. MK Haim Katz will be appointed to the position of Minister of Tourism.

Earlier, the Likud faction elected MK Amir Ohana to the position of Speaker of the Knesset.

His appointment will be approved by the Knesset plenum.

There are also those who are left without positions and are probably not satisfied with the decisions of Likud Chairman Netanyahu. The faction's meeting rose to high tones, when MK Amsalem, who did not receive his request to be appointed to the position of Knesset Speaker or Minister of Justice, asked to speak at the meeting. Rival Levin asked him to finish his words and Amsalem, according to those present at the yeshiva, shouted in the direction of Netanyahu and Rival Levin: "Let me speak, don't do what you want here."

The spirits heated up and Amsalem and Bitan attacked MK Yoav Kish, who also tried to silence them and told him: "Sit quietly, who are you anyway".
