Mexico registers four possible cases of human rabies, what do the authorities say?

Mexican health authorities reported that four people present possible cases of rabies infection after suffering animal bites.

The federal Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell, said that the patients are being treated "as if it were rabies", although they are awaiting laboratory confirmation of whether it is the disease or not.
