Tuesday afternoon, the police carried out a coordinated control operation to fight against crime and drug trafficking in the Bellevue district of Nantes.
National police officers, supported by municipal police officers from Saint-Herblain and CRS, patrolled the area from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
A total of 22 identity checks were carried out.
An individual, with no known address, was arrested and taken into custody.
He had several sachets of cannabis resin on him.

During their patrol, the police found nearly 250 grams of cannabis resin hidden in buildings awaiting demolition.
A figure to which must be added four grams of herbal cannabis.
All this was stored in nearly a hundred bags probably prepared for sale.
Two knives, one of which had a switchblade, were also found in the roller shutters of shops located on Place Bellevue.

This kind of anti-drug operation is carried out on a regular basis in the Bellevue district known to be one of the most active places for drug trafficking in Nantes.
