provides an update on Bison futé's forecasts for traffic conditions for the end of the winter holidays.

Until Saturday, December 31 inclusive, Bison futé does not expect any disruption at first.
Traffic should thus remain fluid, in the direction of departures as well as arrivals, between Thursday and Saturday inclusive.
No traffic jams are to be expected, to the great relief of drivers.
Sunday January 1, 2023
That day, a change of scenery in the eastern part of the country, where Bison futé expects difficult traffic.

Returns from winter sports resorts to the rest of the country risk encountering difficulties on the main alpine axes, in the Rhône Valley and on the A6 motorway
”, notes the service.
Bison futé therefore recommends reaching or crossing the Ile de France before 12 noon.
Traffic jams will be expected on several roads in the afternoon, including the A6 motorway, the A7 motorway between Orange and Lyon, the N90 between Italy and Albertville or the Mont-Blanc tunnel, towards France.

It is therefore better to reach or cross Île-de-France before 11 a.m., at the risk of being trapped on the ring road.
Similarly, in the afternoon, traffic will be particularly difficult on the A35 between Strasbourg and Germany, on the A10 at the Saint-Arnoult toll, and on the A6 between Lyon and Beaune.
