The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared an employee of the Lithuanian Embassy in Moscow persona non grata, and he must leave Russian territory.
The ministry said in a statement: Today, the Chargé d'Affairs of the Lithuanian Embassy in Russia, Yorgita Cibulskien, was summoned to the building of the Russian Foreign Ministry to hand him a strongly worded protest against the Lithuanian side regarding the unjustified expulsion of an employee of the Russian Embassy in Vilnius on the first of this month. The ministry asked the aforementioned employee to leave Russia within five days.
