Chen Longjie, a police officer from the National Security Department, testified today that at around 6 a.m. on December 29, 2021, he and other police officers searched the Kwun Tong office of Stand News.
At that time, the police officers divided the office into multiple areas. Different police officers went to different areas to collect evidence, and Chen was in charge of area A.
Chen found the cards of Zhong Peiquan and Lin Shaotong, several mobile phones and tape recorders in Area A, and also seized the publication "Li Zhi" of "Stand News".
He read the preface to "Aspiration" in court, titled "Stand Hard and Hold the Truth".
The text pointed out that the protest movement seems to have lost its view of the past. "Under the dual influence of the epidemic restrictions and the oppression of the law... it is difficult to pay attention to the scenes of the protests that are shoulder-to-shoulder." In addition, the text stated that those in power spoke the official version "The truth about Hong Kong", the police pointed out that the 7.21 Yuen Long attack was not an indiscriminate attack, but an evenly matched and evenly matched conflict between two factions of different political views.
