Starnberg - The donation piggy bank of the BürgerService in the district office was fed by numerous customers again this year.

District Administrator Stefan Frey and the BürgerService team were thus able to hand over 1,900 euros to three social institutions in the Starnberg district.

If you shorten the waiting time in the BürgerService with a cup of coffee or other drinks, you will inevitably have an eye on the big piggy bank at the information desk.

This year, too, many visitors made a small donation to a charitable cause.

In addition, a further 250 euros were donated by employees of the district office from the donation box in the company canteen.

The JoMa project eV Weßling, the children's protection association district association Starnberg eV and the Bavarian bone marrow donation based in Gauting can look forward to the donations.

Association JoMA project Weßling:

The association supports families with terminally ill, severely disabled or deceased children, adolescents and young adults through psychosocial support.

Verein Kinderschutzbund Kreisverband Starnberg:

The child protection association relieves and supports children and their families in all situations - in everyday life, but also in a wide variety of crisis situations.

In addition to the annual program for children, parents and grandparents, play and toddler groups also meet there.

The association offers various counseling services, organizes accompanied contact and supports children and parents in the event of a separation.

Bone marrow donation Bavaria based in Gauting:

The task of the Bone marrow donation Bavaria based in Gauting is the search for potential donors for a stem cell transplant, the typing of already registered donors, the extraction of appropriate stem cell preparations as well as the establishment and operation of an umbilical cord blood bank.
