Storm Elliot has claimed the lives of at least 60 people, more than 1.6 million homes without power and thousands of air travel cancellations

Storm Elliot, which began last Saturday in the US and Canada, has left numerous consequences in much of the country.

The bomb cyclonic caused by an arctic air front has brought freezing temperatures from Canada to Texas.

Since the storm began, at least 60 people have already died, due to extremely low temperatures, heavy snowfall, strong winds and rains in almost the entire territory.

In the video that accompanies the news you can see the cars and buses buried in the snow and stranded on the road.

We can also see how the animals cross the road and jump through the snow leaving a white winter landscape.

In addition, a restaurant in Hamburg, New York, has been covered in icicles by the recent blizzards produced by the storm.

One of the most affected regions has been Buffalo, with almost 127 cm of snow fallen at the airport and a blizzard, considered the worst in the last 45 years in that area, according to the National Weather Service.
