The young model and survivor commented on her Instagram account to a segment broadcast from the reality show in which she participates, in which she talked about body image and eating disorders

Maya Kay cut the belt this week and was released from the IDF, but even before that, when she participated a few months ago as a full-fledged survivor in the filming of the "Survival" reality show, she was released from the prison she had built for herself for years.

• "Survival": all the reasons that led to the first elimination

In a conversation that Kay had with another survivor, Casey Zepta, in the episode that aired last night, she spoke painfully about the difficulty of dealing with the harsh reality of the modeling world, about the thoughts that relentlessly nag at her about not being thin enough, and about her avoidance of food in order to meet the standards she thought she was. obliged to comply with them.

After the episode aired, she wrote an enlightening post in which she addressed the things she said during the conversation about the island, and received a huge hug from the stars of the egg.

"There are times when I don't eat because I feel too much or there are times when I eat more because I feel too thin because I'm not good enough for these people," Kay said in the same spoken word conversation with Zapata.

She then added in a conversation she had with the production in front of the cameras: "Because I am a model of certain sizes, there is always this feeling that people expect you to stay in your size. There were days when I would simply give up eating. I get up in the morning and drink a cup of coffee and stay on a cup of coffee," she shared .

"At the end of the world to the left, I suddenly felt that I was worth something," Kay wrote at the beginning of her moving words that came, as mentioned, following the broadcast of the segment in the program.

"Amidst the never-ending pursuit of the demanding industry in which I have lived since I was a child, in which I grew up and developed, in which I work and love it, in a place where I felt that every day I had to re-prove that I am relevant, and it doesn't matter how big the project is or whether it is in Israel or London, you Always trying to stay in the slot of thin, blonde, green eyes," she shared the feelings that accompanied her for years.

"How scary it is to go beyond the framework for a second. Will they notice if I ate today? Will it change my figure? Do I notice? How do I know thanks to what I get projects and campaigns?", she shared the questions that constantly poked her and did not let her rest.

"There are days when I am super sure of myself, and there are days when I have no idea how I start them," she said painfully in the fluctuations of her soul.

"I want to say thank you that I understood that the struggle is only mine, with myself, that the environment will not decide about me. Thank you for coming to me suddenly, for helping me understand that no one can control me. Thank you that I discovered it somewhere, at the end of the world to the left," she greeted at the end of the post.

"You are amazing and a hero, I love you," hugged survivor Doreen Dotan.

"Perfect," added Linoy Ashram, who only last November caused a stir when she told the media during an interview about a comment she received from a man about her weight gain.

"You crush me," Romi Gior sang.

"Mami, you moved the whole country to tears! Continue to show how much strength and power you have," showered the compliments of survivor Tal Mord.
