The new season of “Der Bergdoktor” starts on December 29th.

Mark Keller plays the role of Dr.

Alexander Kahnweiler.

Before the big premiere, the actor already chatted about the new episodes.

Ellmau – Be patient for a few more days, then the time has finally come: On December 29th, the 16th season of “Der Bergdoktor” will start on ZDF at 8:15 p.m.

The eight new episodes again tell a lot of adventures of the colorful squad around Dr.

Martin Gruber (Hans Sigl, 53) and take the audience to the breathtaking mountain world of the Wilder Kaiser region.

TV premiere on December 29: ZDF shows eight new episodes of "Der Bergdoktor"

For months, filming on mountain slopes, in the clinic and on the Gruberhof ran at full speed, Hans Sigl and Ronja Forcher (26) kept viewers on social media up to date.

A first trailer for the new episodes promises epic TV fun with lots of family drama about Caro and Rolf Pfluger, the family of Hans Gruber's late wife Sonja.

An old "Bergdoktor" bad guy could also be in the new episodes, which are available as an early Christmas present in the ZDF media library from December 22nd.

Since the broadcast started on February 6, 2008, Mark Keller (57) has embodied Martin Gruber's fellow campaigner Dr.

Alexander Kahnweiler and was again busy in front of the camera with his TV family for the new "Bergdoktor" episodes.

Before the starting gun is fired on ZDF at the end of the month, he and his colleagues are currently still vigorously beating the advertising drum.

The likeable serial doctor met with Barbara Schöneberger (48) to chat about his life, his TV career and the annual “Bergdoktor” fan days, in which the actors get very close to the viewers and answer their most burning questions.
