“Prodigies”: who will win the grand final?

To the discovery of the young virtuoso of the year are added two beautiful musical surprises to illuminate the France 2 talent competition.


After a magical semi-final presented by Faustine Bollaert, the time has come to distinguish an instrumentalist, a singer and a dancer, from whom will be chosen – all categories combined – the 2022 prodigy.

In this grand finale of "Prodiges" on France 2, including

TV Magazine

is a partner, the young artists present a new work in order to highlight another facet of their talent.

Cellist Gautier Capuçon gave a chance to violinist Sora, 9, pianist Lucas, 10, and trombonist, another Lucas, 13.

In the singing category, soprano Julie Fuchs selected Abel, 11, Matt, 13, and Tinaleï, 15.

Finally, the choreographer Marie-Claude Pietragalla encouraged Sacha and Léa, both 12 years old, as well as Esteban, 14 years old.

Under the leadership of Zahia Ziouani directing her own symphony orchestra, the candidates will play, sing or dance to Mozart and Verdi, but also to film music, contemporary works or musicals.

A Ukrainian pianist

By welcoming Diana, a brilliant 14-year-old Ukrainian pianist, “Prodiges” recalls the universal language of music beyond words and the chaos of time and its powerful comforting power.

The program produced by Endemol France also offers a stage for the 2021 winner, clarinetist Simon Lopez, who is releasing a beautiful eponymous album at Warner Classics, where he has invited Maria, the accordionist, and Paolo, the guitarist.

Since the launch of "Prodiges" in 2014, four instrumentalists, three singers and a single dancer have won the title and the 10,000 euro scholarship.
