A house of inspiration - Beit Shalom Ash opens its doors to writers and poets to come and stay in the unique house and draw inspiration.
The purpose of the program is to open Shalom Ash's house and host artists from various fields who, during their stay at the house, are invited to write, think and create - right in Ash's study, on his desk, to have access to the house's library, archive and create a dialogue with the museum staff.
Creators who are accepted for the three-month residency period will receive a grant for the residency period and are also asked to propose and hold a meeting with the general public on the topics of their work.

As part of the program, there will be 2 periods of stay at home, one between February and April and the other between August and October.
Only one creator will be chosen for each period and priority will be given to the creator who comes with the goal of researching, testing, writing and deepening Shalom Ash's writings and his likeness, the connection between text and art, forgotten and extinct languages and crafts, and in the local maritime and Mediterranean area.

Beit Shalom Ash was built for the writer Heidi Shalom Ash and his wife Matilda in 1955, and is part of Mobi's array of houses: House Museums.
Today the house functions as a museum, cultural center and archive, and Ash's unique collections and his work environment are displayed there.
