Why cleaning is important and when to do it? Discover the best practices for a successful household.

Cleaning is not necessarily a piece of cake, but it is essential for a healthy lifestyle and to enjoy a pleasant living environment.

Dusting, vacuuming and mopping, cleaning household appliances can become small daily rituals.

How do you know if the house is clean?

What are the signs that it's time to clean up?

  • The presence of more and more dust and sheep;

  • Stains on the surfaces.

  • Insects that have recently come to your home (ants, gnats, food moths, cockroaches, etc.)

  • In the kitchen, the surfaces are greasy;

  • The ground sticks under your feet;

  • Carpets have food residue or pet hair…

All of these should alert you to the fact that your house is not clean.

When to clean?

The ideal is to take care of the maintenance of the house on a daily basis.

A little organization and method will help you keep your accommodation clean and tidy.

Do not hesitate to delegate certain actions so that all the occupants of the house contribute to household chores.

Make sure you have all the necessary equipment available:

  • a broom in good condition;

  • a bucket and a mop;

  • a push broom and a mop;

  • a feather duster;

  • microfiber wipes and sponges;

  • cleaning products: (with the winning trio white vinegar / baking soda / lemon) including a product for the floor and a multi-purpose product.

    Some essential oils could be useful to you (lemon, eucalyptus, mint, tea tree, etc.)

What is the risk in the event of a neglected household?

Not cleaning regularly can cause health concerns: allergies, rhinitis, asthma, irritations and even breathing difficulties.

The dust and dirt that accumulates can also increase indoor pollution: humidity, appearance of fungi, molds, spores, etc.

A poorly done household is conducive to the appearance of small unwanted animals: dust mites, ants, gnats, etc.

Bad odors can also set in, and make everyday life unpleasant.
