Many additional S-Bahn trains on New Year's Eve

District - Night owls benefit from many additional travel options in the S-Bahn area on New Year's Eve.

On behalf of the Bavarian Railway Company, the Munich S-Bahn is offering a total of 30 additional journeys at night and in the early morning hours, so that everyone who celebrates can get home safely and comfortably.

On New Year's Eve, S-Bahn trains run on all lines in both directions one hour later than usual on weekends.

The trains depart from the inner city area at around 3.30 a.m. and run to the end stations of the respective lines.

The S-Bahn is also increasing the range of services on the main route itself and will be offering additional shuttle services from midnight.

On the important east-west axis between Pasing and Ostbahnhof, the S-Bahn trains run in each direction continuously at least every 20 minutes until around 4 a.m.
