25 parks and enclosed gardens will remain closed this Friday morning in Nantes due to bad weather.
Violent gusts of up to 80km/h are indeed expected tomorrow, according to La Chaîne Météo*.
"
As a safety measure for its users, the City of Nantes informs that all parks, squares and enclosed gardens in Nantes will remain closed to the public on the morning of December 30 and until further notice
", indicates the municipality.
An inventory will be carried out during the day by the City services.
Depending on the results, some green spaces may gradually reopen.

The municipal services also recommend that users
“stay away from trees, not to take shelter under vegetation and to postpone non-essential outdoor activities around
green spaces open 24 hours a day.

These closures, although infrequent, are not unprecedented.
The city of Nantes usually adopts this measure when the wind reaches 55 km/h.
