Walpertskirchen
- The Walpertskirchen municipal council unanimously gave the green light for a New Year's Eve celebration of the Catholic rural youth on the village square.
For this purpose, as two years ago, the hut will be set up by the Walpertskirchen regulars' table.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.)
However, the young people have to take certain conditions into account: In addition to the general youth protection regulations, it must be ensured that only adult members serve the bar.
A youth protection officer must also be appointed.
To protect the surrounding houses and road traffic, no fireworks may be set off on the village square.
The site must be cleared and cleaned by January 2nd at the latest.
Music should be restricted to the interior of the hut and the 3am curfew.
In principle, the municipal council also approved the second application by the KLJB to hold the 2023 maypole celebration with a maypole parlor on the fairground at the fire station and to use the village square for putting up the maypole.
However, two events in the Stüberl were viewed critically from the point of view of youth protection because their design harbored the risk of drinking too much alcohol: the so-called Beer Pong Party and the Traffic Light Party.
Here it is important to allow this in consultation with the youth welfare office and its requirements.
