A number of things were not perfect in the formation of the government • It was wrong to divide terms in the ministries, some of the ministers are also inexperienced • Now the burden of proof is on the appointed ministers

A holiday for Israel.

On December 26, 2018, the 20th Knesset was dissolved, and Israel began to deteriorate into a severe regime crisis.

Today, after five rounds of elections, four years, three days and two hybrid governments - a stable and cohesive government has finally been established.

One that reflects the will of the voters, without a "reserve prime minister", without schticks and without combinations, a government that, at least on paper, should survive its full days.

That's not a bad start.

The members of the new government, and this is also important news, understand what bothers the common citizen.

The personal security, the Jewish identity, the cost of living and housing, the traffic jams, the bureaucracy and the legalization, which make it impossible to move without bumping into something or someone.

They are not captive to loose ideologies, and will not waste time on silly matters like the temperature on the train.

Of course, now the new ministers have the burden of proof.

The ministers will be examined from one angle only: the result.

Because after everything we've been through in these years, and after all the promises and agreements and gossip, now one thing is required: to carry out.

True, not everything is perfect.

It was wrong to divide terms of office between ministers, to allow politicians to appoint the military rabbi, to recognize a rabbi's certificate as equivalent to a bachelor's degree, and to dilute the supervision of ultra-orthodox schools.

The ultra-orthodox children need a general education - and their leaders know this.

On top of that, some of the new ministers are young or lack political experience.

They have not yet been heads of ministries, have not managed a political trade, and have not had to deal with attacks from the national media.

Another difficulty is, of course, the opposition reception.

Lapid, Gantz, Sa'ar and Michali did their part, and used the time to bash the government.

The social networks, whose essence is to spread propaganda, contributed their part (interestingly, by the way, both Facebook and Twitter are on the decline worldwide).

Orthodox children need a general education - and their leaders know this, an Orthodox school,

But the criticism is unfounded.

For 45 years now, the left has presented the governments of the right as a combination of Iran, North Korea, China and Hitler, and yet the country only prospers.

Human rights also expanded under Likud rule and at his initiative.

It is therefore incomprehensible how serious people, including right-wing ones, still buy this used goods.

Beyond that, whoever examines the proposed reforms in the legal field will find that there is a lot of logic in them.

Yes, also in the amendment in question to the "Prohibition of Discrimination Law", which is in line with the decisions of the US Supreme Court. Bottom line, the departure of the 37th government is a blessing to the public. If it fulfills even half of its plans - the people of Israel will be rewarded.
