At around 4:00 in the morning, it was reported that a staff member of Cuiyuan Restaurant on Zhong’an Street had returned to work. As soon as they turned on the lights, they found a big snake crawling on a stove used to heat the soup at the water bar. They were shocked and informed the person in charge to report the incident. .
When the police arrived at the scene, the big snake was still on the stove and did not leave, so they notified the snake king.
Snake King Li, who caught the snake at the scene, said that the big snake was a "red-tailed boa constrictor", about 6 to 7 years old, about 1.5 meters long, and weighed more than 10 kilograms.
Red-tailed boa constrictors are mostly pet snakes, and it is initially not ruled out that some people keep them.

It is understood that the tea restaurant involved opened at 5:00 a.m., and the staff pointed out that because the big snake was still in the restaurant, they could not enter the water bar to prepare breakfast, and could not do business for the time being; however, the staff could not figure out how it sneaked into the restaurant mind.
Snake King Li estimated that due to the sudden drop in temperature today, snakes are "exothermic animals" and need the outside temperature to help them digest and move. Therefore, it is believed that it walked to the electric stove that was still warm to keep warm.
He also pointed out that the red-tailed boa is a species of snake raised by many people in Hong Kong, and it is believed that it was lost nearby.
He revealed that similar snakes had been lost in the vicinity earlier.
As for the snakes caught this time, Li said that they will be sent to the Fisheries and Conservation Department or the Kadoorie Farm for inspection later.
