The Finance Committee of the Legislative Council held a year-end press conference today (29th).
Chairman Chen Zhenying said that as of December 21 this year, a total of 70 projects have been approved by the Finance Committee, involving a total of 177.5 billion yuan.

Chen Zhenying pointed out that the Finance Committee held a total of 29 meetings, with a total time of about 67 hours and an average of 28 minutes to review a project.
Among the 70 approved projects, 37 are related to public works projects, including the reconstruction projects of Prince of Wales Hospital, Grantham Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital and the development project of Yuen Long South, with a total commitment of about 100.7 billion yuan.
18 non-public works proposals, including injecting $27 billion and $43 billion into the Anti-epidemic Fund to implement the sixth round of relief measures and the "2022 Employment Guarantee" respectively, and 15 proposals on staffing involving $6.8 billion.
