Close to a thousand people demonstrated this evening (Thursday) in the Sharona complex near the government building in Tel Aviv against the violation of the rights of the gay community.

This is against the background of the swearing in of the 37th government that took place today in the Knesset residence.

They shouted "Homophobia, racism is the same violence" and waved signs with the inscription "Red line for hate", "Our blood was allowed?"

And "Avi Maoz, you are on our blacklist".

Behind the protest are the community organizations, including the Association for the LGBT, Iggy, Hoshan, Shevrata, Mabarim and LGBTTech.

"We are seen as second-class citizens," journalist Nadav Bornstein criticized the government in his speech on stage at the demonstration.

"We as a community are used to fighting, but today something different is happening here. This is not a fight for rights that we want to receive, it is a fight so that they do not take from us what we have received. To make it clear in a strong and united voice - we will not move back a millimeter, the list of the Noam party classified media persons according to tendency Sexually. It's scary."
