After they threw Molotov cocktails and stones at a bus and the police forces, an indictment is filed today (Thursday) against three boys who are suspected of the act.
During the incident that took place at the beginning of the month, Molotov cocktails and stones were thrown at a bus in the A-Tor neighborhood in the east of Jerusalem, resulting in damage to the bus (no casualties).
Immediately following the incident, police forces and the border guard arrived at the scene, for which they also threw stones.
Following the serious incident, an investigation was conducted in the central unit of the Jerusalem District in recent weeks.
During this, two 16-year-old residents of the neighborhood were arrested by the detectives of the central unit and the Jerusalem district police officers. They were handed over to the police for investigation.
A few days after their arrest, which at the time was extended in order to continue the investigation, another suspect, also a 16-year-old resident of the A-Tor neighborhood, was arrested and handed over for questioning.
During the investigation, the investigators collected evidence and testimony against the three arrested suspects and their detention was extended from time to time in order to complete their investigation.
Today the prosecutor's office is expected to submit the indictment against them for their actions.
The police stated: "The Israel Police will continue to act resolutely against incidents of violence and disorder that harm the public's security and property. The long hand of the police, while combining and utilizing professional capabilities and forces, will locate those involved in this for investigation and prosecution accordingly."
