"Cried, laughed, then cried again": Upper Bavarian wins five million in the lottery

It was an emotional Christmas for a pensioner from Upper Bavaria.
Shortly before the festival, she won over five million euros in the lottery.
Munich – A Christmas present worth millions: A 79-year-old pensioner typed six correct numbers in the lottery game 6 out of 49.
And three days before Christmas.
She gave herself a gift of over five million euros.

Won five million euros in the lottery: Upper Bavarian overwhelmed by feelings
"First I cried, then laughed, then cried again," she said in an interview with the State Lottery and Casino Administration when asked about the first feeling after learning about her million hit.
"After that I called my son and asked if that could be true."
In the game 6 out of 49, an Upper Bavarian won more than five million euros.
For 50 years she has ticked different numbers each time.

As the message from Lotto Bayern goes on to say, the million hit was achieved with the full 6 out of 7 system.
"In addition to 5,018,021 euros for her hit in the second prize category, her total winnings with further prizes in the following prize categories therefore added up to exactly 5,050,127 euros."
Upper Bavarian won the lottery after 50 years
“With this high profit my further life is financed.
At the moment I don't have the head to make further plans, I have to digest everything first," reports the Upper Bavarian.
Did she have a recipe for success to hit the jackpot?
"I've been playing the lottery for 50 years, but I always tick different numbers."
Lotto Bayern had been looking for the lucky winner for a few days, and the 79-year-old only got in touch after the holidays.
