"Doesn't exist in Austria": "Bergdoktor" viewers discover errors in the season opener

"Der Bergdoktor" starts its 16th season.
But a ZDF viewer listened carefully at the start – and noticed a mistake by the scriptwriters.
Ellmau – In “Der Bergdoktor” it’s about Dr.
Martin Gruber (Hans Sigl) at the start of season 16 moves on.
But to the drama that keeps the Gruber family in suspense, there was a mistake at the start of the series that most of the ZDF viewers probably did not notice at first.

At the beginning of the new "Der Bergdoktor" season, Dr.
Martin Gruber does not give himself a break: After a short break, the title hero returns to his home in Tyrol, where family tensions and a lot of work await him.
After several strokes, his patient, 65-year-old sheep farmer Alois Bachmeier, appears to be suffering from Binswanger encephalopathy.
The result: dementia.
At the start of the season, an error crept in on “Der Bergdoktor”.

A world collapses for his granddaughter Josefine;
his daughter Karin reacts comparatively cool.
She broke with her violent father years ago.
The farmer is no longer able to take care of himself due to his condition and needs a guardian.
Karin asks mountain doctor Martin Gruber and his colleague Dr.
Alexander Kahnweiler (Mark Keller) therefore to submit their diagnosis to the district court – a scene in which the screenwriters probably did not take the background information very seriously.
Criticism of the "Bergdoktor" - specialist journal for doctors criticizes the ZDF series:
"Der Bergdoktor" may be well received by its viewers, but there has already been criticism of the series from a professional perspective.
The Deutsches Ärzteblatt characterized protagonist Dr.
Martin Gruber as an uncooperative know-it-all whose everyday life in series has little to do with the actual medical profession.
The ZDF series is full of clichés and conveys the "classic image of doctors from the old Heimat films".

What German fans in particular should not have noticed bothered a ZDF viewer so much that he turned to Twitter:
"If the Bergdoktor talks about the district court, although there is no such thing in Austria,"
the user clarifies.
The district courts would be responsible for a corresponding case in the Alpine Republic.

However, other viewers took the small mistake with humor, especially since the alpine doctor series here and there is noticeable with inconsistencies that are not particularly drastic.
One user commented: "No Tyrolean speaks as high German as all the German actors play the Austrians." Bergdoktor” love drama.
