The district court in Frankfurt issued Carla Hinrichs from the “Last Generation” with a penalty order.
However, without any procedure and to a “wrong address”.
Frankfurt – For several months, activists of the “last generation” have repeatedly appeared in large cities.
They call for the exit from fossil energy sources and compliance with the climate goals that the federal government has set itself.
Carla Hinrichs therefore received a letter from the Frankfurt district court – and the activist responded on Twitter with clear words, reports fr.de.
The Generations Agreement for the Climate of the Federal Government states: "By amending the Climate Protection Act, the Federal Government has tightened the climate protection requirements and anchored the goal of greenhouse gas neutrality by 2045.
By 2030, emissions are to be reduced by 65 percent compared to 1990.”

"Last Generation": Roadblocks across Frankfurt in April
From the point of view of the “Last Generation” activists, the federal government is not complying with the law and is not persistent enough in the fight against climate change.
The "Last Generation" has caused a nationwide echo in recent weeks after they were stuck on the runway of the airport in Munich or sawed off the top of the Christmas tree at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.
The “Last Generation” was already active in Frankfurt in April.
At several busy points in Frankfurt, the activists blocked the streets and stuck to the asphalt.
The streets were closed for hours and several activists were arrested.
As early as April it was clear that they would at most face fines.

That's exactly what happened to Carla Hinrichs.
But the process is making waves.
“The district court in Frankfurt has sent me a penalty order.
On April 12th
I am said to have 'acting in concert unlawfully compelled people to do something by force'.
Conviction if I don't appeal within 14 days.
Delivered to the wrong address.
60 daily rates of €30 = €1800.
Without having listened to me, without any proceedings," Hinrichs wrote on her Twitter channel on Thursday evening (December 29).

In short: Hinrichs does not want to pay the fine.
She announces: “See you in court.
Because whether my behavior is punishable is an interpretation.
It must be decided taking my motives into account.” The last word has not yet been spoken on this matter.
It is not yet known whether other activists who took part in the actions in Frankfurt in April also received a penalty order.
