Wolfratshausen – Shortly before Christmas, a long line had formed in front of the toy store at the Untermarkt in Wolfratshausen.

43 families from different countries of origin, including refugees from Ukraine, came and waited anxiously.

More than 100 children were able to pick up a present from St. Nicholas that evening.

Wolfratshausen: Tunap employees give presents to children in need

This was made possible by 180 employees of the Wolfratshausen-based company Tunap, an international manufacturer of aerosols, lubricants and cleaning agents.

They had donated money to give presents to 180 needy children in Wolfratshausen.

The aim was to set an example for lived neighborly solidarity at a time when everything is becoming more expensive.

In mid-December, every family was able to register with Thousand by presenting their social security passport, and the children were allowed to choose a present worth up to 20 euros.

All gifts were prepared at Tunap and Thousand for collection on December 21st.

Santa Claus personally handed over the gifts.

Organizations such as the Inselhaus child and youth welfare service and the women's shelter can look forward to a further 80 gifts.

"Overall, a great success, which also came about with the help of Ines Lobenstein, head of the Wolfratshausen asylum district," says a statement from Tunap.
