Binyamin Netanyahu's sixth government officially started yesterday (Thursday) with its inauguration, and between the speeches, the shouting and the chaos were recorded on cameras and voila!
Some interesting moments.
Among the photos you can find opposition leader Yair Lapid walking past Netanyahu, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana's hug with Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gabir, and Minister Aryeh Deri dozing off.

The swearing-in day of the government began with the opening speech of the incoming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which the members of the opposition interrupted with chants of protest.
Following the disruption to the plenary, some were removed from the hall, one of them was MK Ofer Kasif.

Before the inauguration itself, Likud MK Amir Ohana was elected Speaker of the Knesset at the end of a vote, in which 63 MKs supported him. Ohana is the first member of the gay community to hold this position, something he mentioned in a speech he gave, in which he thanked his partner and his young children who watched him from the seats the guests

But some members of the Knesset, precisely those who belong to the coalition, did not take kindly to Ohana's words and left the plenary.
At the same time MK Meir Parosh and Moshe Gafni from Torah Judaism were seen looking away, and Parosh was even heard saying to Gaffni: "What is this thing?"
In contrast to them, the chairman of Otzma Yehudit seemed very happy and blessed Ohana afterwards, and even gave him a warm hug

The long day in the Knesset exhausted several members of the government being formed, including incoming Interior Minister Arie Deri, who was caught by the camera taking a nap during the long speeches in the plenary.
An exhausting day.

Netanyahu and Lapid pass each other in the Knesset plenum (Photo: Reuven Castro)
The great tension between outgoing Prime Minister Yair Lapid and his new-old replacement Netanyahu was already noticeable during the ceremony in the plenum, when they passed each other without looking at each other.
After the swearing in, they met for an overlap meeting that lasted about 40 minutes.
He then left a note on the table in the prime minister's office, which read "Lapid 2024".
