Lauterbach now takes the danger from "Reich citizens" seriously - "I'm worried about my children"

Karl Lauterbach is exposed to death threats because of his politics.
Now he admits that he underestimated the danger posed by "Reich citizens".
Berlin - The nationwide raid against "Reichsbürger" at the beginning of December hit like a bomb.
Suspects who were apparently planning a coup had been arrested all over Germany.
Up to this point in time, “Reichsbürger” had only been smiled at by many, but it is now clear how dangerous they are.
Lauterbach on "Reichsbürger": "Thought it was a few harmless crazy people"
Karl Lauterbach is also one of those who initially underestimated the danger.
The health minister admitted this in an interview with the
Rheinische Post
.
"I didn't even know the Reichsbürger a few years ago.
Then I thought they were some harmless lunatics.
Today I know that these people are dangerous terrorists, many armed," Lauterbach said.
The SPD politician even feels the danger of this on his own body.
He sees his family in danger.
"I'm very well protected.
But it's affecting my life and I'm worried about my kids," Lauterbach said.

In April 2022, "Reichsbürger" are said to have planned explosive attacks and Lauterbach's kidnapping.
Four men and the leader of the group were arrested during nationwide searches.
Lauterbach had already been attacked for his politics during the corona pandemic.
He received numerous hate comments, and he and his family were even the target of death threats.
"I am still being threatened myself, and I also receive shocking death threats for my children," he
told the
Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger at the time.
