Germany sees no reason to continue nuclear talks with Iran.
Ironically, Russia now warned of the nuclear threat.
Munich – The Iran deal, the so-called JCPOA, is intended to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons in exchange for easing sanctions.
However, there are currently problems in the negotiations, partly because of the demonstrations against the Iranian regime and its suppression of the protests.
Germany wants to support the protest movement instead of negotiating relief.
Russia of all people is now warning Berlin of the consequences if there is no new nuclear deal with Iran.
Vladimir Putin's government has recently sought at least partial solidarity with Tehran - for example on arms deliveries.

At the federal press conference on Wednesday (December 28), the spokesman for Annalena Baerbock's Foreign Office, Christofer Burger, spoke when asked about the nuclear negotiations with Iran.
There are "currently no indications and no reason" for talks, he explained.
In the past few days, it has repeatedly been made clear that negotiations will not take place.
The focus is on supporting the demonstrations, according to Burger.
The Russian diplomat Mikhail Ulyanov, who represents Russia at the negotiations in Vienna, responded to the statements from Berlin on Twitter, as reported by the state agency Tass.
"Apparently Germany underestimates the importance of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons," Ulyanov wrote.
He also accused Germany of underestimating the risk of a "serious and even uncontrolled escalation" if the JCPOA talks were unsuccessful.
It seems conceivable that Russia wants to help Iran in talks.

The fact that a warning about the dangers of nuclear weapons came from Russia, of all things, seems remarkable.
After all, Moscow keeps promising the use of the “nuclear doctrine” while Kremlin propagandists threaten nuclear war on state TV.

Meanwhile, Iran commented on the negotiations under the joint action plan.
According to the Tasnim news agency, Mohammed Eslami, the head of Iran's nuclear agency, said Tehran had fulfilled all of the JCPOA obligations.
Nevertheless, the USA had labeled Iran's nuclear program as "not peaceful" and accused Iran of wanting to produce a nuclear bomb.
The sanctions even hit medicine and food, he complained.
Eslami also referred to the benefits of nuclear energy for "people's lives".

In mid-December, Kamal Charazzi, a senior adviser to Iran's top cleric Ali Chamanei, claimed that Iran has the ability to produce a nuclear bomb but will not do so.
"Furthermore, we believe that the production of a nuclear weapon is 'haram'," London-based broadcaster Iran International quoted the Iranian adviser as saying.
In Islam, forbidden actions are called "haram".
